Ok, Sum just gave me this idea in NFS's blog so here we go, just a few snaps of my babies enjoying their week away...
1st up gotta open the prezzies..

The weather most days was too crappy for the beach but we had too have a look..
All in all the kids had a great time but the adults had a bit of a sucky one. Because of the weather the fish were very scarce and the second time we took the boat out she got a hole in it from a big stick the damn wake board boats tossed into the bay 
Oh well, a new allycraft will be nice next year

Ok, this is long awaited by some, but not complete 
Well after an hour of play i have to say so far it's not bad, no brilliant but not bad...
First up what i don't like.. I don't like the upshift engine noise in manual, sounds auto, but upside, the downshift sounds sweet.
Cops, cops are too easy unless you get stuck by the age old bug of getting stuck on the roof of a cop car, lol. This bug has been around since HP2. Upside, you can attract heaps of them by being a naughty speed freak, lol.
Gfx... Well, i have to say i'm a little disappointed, the gtx280 shows how lazy they have been with the bling, it's very plain and the world detail is again very yucky. Upside, it's runs smooth as and haven't had a dropped frame yet 
Game play... again too easy, way too easy infact. I wouldn't be surprised if they give me more laps i'll be lapping the AI, lol. Upside, an easy game for newbies too car racing games, although....
The menu sux to navigate, this is one of my biggest complaints, it really does suck eggs, not a good layout at all and confusing to anyone. No upside here!
Rating so far, ummm, 6 hovering on 7 cause i am having fun slamming coppers again, lol
I will update as i unlock better stuff

Some of you may have noticed my absence since yesterday or maybe not, but anyways, i had to take myself up to the hospital with an extremely sore belly. See i have a really stuffed back and in the course of having a really bad flu, a major cough and a half assed way of coughing cause of my back, i scored me a hernia. After 3mths of the doc saying it wasn't bad enough to operate it got bigger, sorer and what they called constricted. So they locked me up and made me wait for imminent torture After what seemed like forever, i finally got into a bed, then some more hours later into be chopped.
When i woke it felt like i had just gone 13 with Danny Green, all hits to the guts
Just so ya's understand why i'm a bit of a wuss, i Don't take pain killers, well except for the knock out gas, lol. But yeah, the nurses were under orders to keep the drugs to only what i needed for the op and immediately after, and only mild stuff cause of alergies.
Well, i bet it's not often said about a hospital these days but the nurse's and doc's made my stay so comfortable, i even scored a massage when i woke in the middle of the night 
Man these nurses are gold, they work their asses off, sacrifice breaks, bust their backs with ancient equipment and get paid stuff all for it!
I have been to a few hospitals in my time but never been treated so well!
I will say i waited forever at every stage of my journey but after seeing what these nurses go through i could never whinge about it!
Anyways, feeling ok, but a bit sore so gaming is out for a couple of days...

Well, today was payday and i headed off to pay bills and hit the newsagent to see if the new Atomic was out and sure as it was and to my pleasant surprise they had some Very favourable ratings on EA's latest releases.
First up is Dead Space on PC, with a Gfx rating of 84%, Gameplay 92%, Sound 96% and a total of 91%.
Second we have C&C Red Alert 3 on PC, Gfx 96%, Gameplay 98%, Sound 94% and a total of 96%. Not being an rts fan, this review has almost twisted my arm into getting this game!
Third we have Crysis: Warhead, Gfx 94%, Gameplay 88%, Sound 89% and total 91%.
I love this game, just wish more peeps would get online and play Wars!

Well, i just got this on 360 today and after an hour or so of play on easy, i can say, graphically this game is unreal, 1080p and a 50" plasma and Isaac looks almost real. The sound good too. The controls arn't bad everything easy to get. The monsters are vicious suckers, i wasn't expecting the 1st one to jump out so fast i near, you know what comes next, lol, myself and got slashed and my head chewed off, lol.
I have to say i'm not a horror/gore sort of person so i will be passing this game onto my uncle, i know he wont have a heart attack playing it, lol :P
But if your are into horror type alien games this one is a must have without a doubt!

Well, talk about fast paced fun! Although i haven't played it much Yet my 1st impression of Crysis Wars is Awesome!
It has 2 modes, The Power Struggle mode is Very BF2 like with points to capture but different making it all that more exciting, capturing certain capture points unlocks new exciting weapons for your use, with the ultimate being the TAC weapons, one being a tank that fires a nuke thats used to obliterate the enemy HQ and own the game.
The second being Team Instant Action (TIA). This one is full on, the object is to accumulate the most points within a given time or by reaching the score limit, in the case of a tie a three min overtime will take place. Like Power Struggle you pick your side, US or Korean and there are several maps.
All in all, can't wait to get more time to play this, it is a blast!

As a Holden fan all i can post is my disappointment in the powers that be for not reprimanding Craig Lowndes for shunting my man Murph 1st lap at the top of mountain straight costing Murph 2 pit stops and heaps of time. Murph still got second and if that horrible little cheat didn't shunt him he wouldn't have seen him for dust!
If there was a video ref like in football Lowndes would have been out.
Shame on you Craig, Brocky wouldn't be happy having a cheat hold his trophy!
Subtle hint here...
EA GET THE V8 Supercars LICENCE and BUILD A GAME!!!! It's out there floating, no one is making one, on the job!!

Hello to anyone who bothers clicking
This is my 1st ever blog thingy and i have no idea what i'm gonna put here but we'll see what i can find to bump my gums about, lol
I'll start with my absence from any PC game for a few weeks..
To be honest i needed a break from sitting in front of the gaming monster to get my house sorted out and believe it or not, i started, got near finished then the landlord come in and trashed the place fitting 2 sky lights, so back to cleaning, lol...
Anyway besides that i've been hitting the 360 a bit, BF Bad Company being the latest and all i can say is the single player is a blast!! The thing i'm liking most is the way you can blow stuff up everywhere with nades and heavy fire, very Crysis like.
Being a one eyed PC FPS player i'd never thought i'd say this but i'm totally enjoying this game, consoles will Never match the controllablity of a PC but his game sure is fun and worth a blast. Oh and also the career is mega long, a welcome change to most games these days
The other game i've been into is NASCAR 09. This game is excellent as well, very realistic and damn hard, but not too hard, just enough to challenge you enough to make you a decent NASCAR driver.
I've played a few of these on PC and found them a bit boring and very easy but this one will give anyone the driving experience they desire from a NASCAR game.
I've only just started this but have managed to unlock a few upgrades which i'm finding really bring the cars to life and make them handle heaps better
If you're a NASCAR fan this is a must have
