CRYSIS™ REGIONAL TOURNAMENT SINGAPORE QUALIFIERS RULES

Registration
To register for these Qualifiers for the 2008 Asia Crysis Tournament and have a chance to compete in the Regional Championships, all you need to log onto www.ea.com.sg/eaplay08 and register online. Registration is open from 14:00 (GMT) on 15 February 2008 to 17:00 (GMT) on 9 March 2008 or as soon as sixty four (64) participants have successfully registered for these Qualifiers, whichever is earlier. No late registrations will be accepted. Registration Instructions form part of these Official Rules.

The maximum number of participants in these Qualifiers is sixty four (64). Once sixty four (64) participants have successfully registered for these Qualifiers, no further registrations will be accepted.

By registering for these Qualifiers, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

Promoter
The Promoter is Electronic Arts Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore and having its registered office at 3 Temasek Avenue, #20-01 Centennial Tower Singapore 039190 ("Promoter").

Eligibility and Entry Conditions
Registration for these Qualifiers is open to residents of Singapore who have attained the age of 18. Employees of the Promoter and/or its related companies and/or any agencies associated with either these Qualifiers or the Regional Championships, and members of their respective immediate families*, are not eligible to participate in these Qualifiers ("Eligible Participant"). *"Immediate family" means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural, or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee. In registering for these Qualifiers, all registrants warrant that they are Eligible Participants.

Only one registration per person/email account will be accepted. Successful registrants will be notified either by email or telephone using the contact details provided by the registrant to the Promoter in registering for these Qualifiers within by 13 March 2008. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for unsuccessful registrations.

Timing and Structure of Local Qualifiers
These Qualifiers will be held at EA PLAY 08 at the Marina Square Central Atrium ("Venue") and will take place at 09:00 (GMT) on 16 March 2008 and finish by 13:00 (GMT) on the same day.

Participants will compete in groups of eight (8) participants ("Playing Groups") playing in one (1) rounds comprising of 15 minute matches using the "Instant Action" game type ("Playing Rounds"). Playing Groups will be selected randomly by the Promoter.

The participant in each Playing Group having the highest accumulated score at the end of all Playing Rounds ("Winners") will progress to the Regional Championships, to be held at the Venue from 14.00 (GMT) on 16 March 2008.*

* If there are less than sixty four (64) Eligible Participants registered for these Qualifiers then the Promoter may determine in its discretion how to structure these Qualifiers so as to determine, based on skill, which eight (8) participants progress to the Regional Championships.

Tied Scores
In the event of tied scores, the participant in each Playing Group eligible to progress to the Regional Championships will be determined based on which participant has the lowest number of accumulated deaths. In the event of the same number of accumulated deaths, tied participants will play a single match eliminator (pistol only) to determine who will proceed to the Regional Championships.

Conduct and Instructions on Game Play
The Promoter will issue instructions on game play, mandatory game settings, game controller settings and rules ("Game Rules") at least 72 hours prior to the commencement of these Qualifiers. The Game Rules will be made available on the Promoters website at www.ea.com.sg/eaplay08. It is the sole responsibility of participants to familiarise themselves with the Game Rules. Questions can be directed to the Tournament Director at easgevents@ea.com.

Participants must, in participating in these Qualifiers, comply with these Official Rules, the Game Rules and with all directions and instructions of the Tournament Director.

Cheating, Abuse and Disorderly Behaviour
Any player may be disqualified immediately from this Tournament at the discretion of the Promoter for any failure to comply with these Official Rules, the Game Rules or any directions or instructions of the Tournament Director, or for any cheating, including:

(a) using any cheats, hacks or other 3rd party "helper" applications in playing games;
(b) intentionally disconnecting from the Internet during any game;
(c) colluding with other players in playing games; or
(d) taking advantage of known exploits in the game (NB. it is the responsibility of players to understand and avoid all current illegal exploits).

Abusive or disorderly behaviour, including any use of harassing, negative, or profane language online, will not be tolerated and will also constitute grounds for immediate disqualification.

Prizes & Prize Conditions
The Prizes and the order in which they will be awarded to the Winners of these Qualifiers are as follows:

First Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Second Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Third Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Fourth Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Fifth Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Sixth Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Seventh Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships
Eighth Prize	SGD$100 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Regional Championships

Winners must, as conditions to participating in the Regional Championships:
(a) agree to be bound by the Crysis Regional Championships Rules; and
(b) sign and return to the Promoter, on request, the Affirmation and Release.

The failure to return such signed documentation by the commencement of the Regional Championships may, in the Promoter's sole discretion, result in the participant's eligibility to compete in the Regional Championships being forfeited, in which case another participant may be selected to compete in the Regional Championships.

Unless satisfactory proof of age any other is also received within this period, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Winner and select another participant to participate in the Regional Championships.

If the value of a Prize is specified in the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in that value.

Except with the written consent of the Promoter, Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash Prizes cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter has absolute discretion as to whether to provide such consent and is under no obligation to provide any reasons to any person for providing, or withholding, consent.

If a Prize, or any part of a Prize, is “cash”, the “cash” will be paid by cheque drawn in favour of the relevant Prize winner.

In the event that any Prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with cash or another prize of equal or greater value.

Recordings, Media and Publicity
In registering for these Qualifiers, each participant authorises the Promoter to use, publish and display his or her name and likeness and any footage, recordings and/or photographs of him or her recorded or taken during these Qualifiers, or any reproduction or modification thereof, in any manner and medium throughout the world for advertising, trade, promotion, exhibition and any other lawful purpose.

Taxes
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a Winner receiving a Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Promoter reserves the right to deduct any taxes owing in respect of such Prize from any cash amounts payable, to the extent applicable.

Exclusion of Liability
By registering for these Qualifiers each participant assumes sole liability for any personal injury and/or damage to property caused or claimed to have been caused to him or her as a result of or in connection with participating in these Qualifiers and/or any Prize.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate registration information,
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, or incomplete
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any communication network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software,
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website,
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of these Qualifiers,
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of these Qualifiers,
(vii) any loss, damage or injury suffered or incurred by any participant or any other person as a result of or in connection with participation in these Qualifiers and/or any Prize, howsoever caused;
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in connection with these Qualifiers.

These Official Rules do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights or remedies a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servants or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the Prize supplied again.

Tampering and other Failures
If for any reason these Qualifiers are not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of these Qualifiers, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or who may benefit form such tampering, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend these Qualifiers.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON A WEBSITE, OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THESE QUALIFIERS, MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, WHETHER SUCCESSFUL OR NOT, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Privacy
Participant personal information ("PI") will be collected in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy to enable the Promoter to administer and promote these Qualifiers and its Winners and, if a participant consents, may be used to market its products and services to the participant. The PI of Winners may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and deliverers. Finalists may contact the Promoter at the nearest address found on http://privacyadmin.ea.com to request access to any of their collected PI that is still held.

If a Finalist does not truthfully provide all requested personally identifiable information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a Prize.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Conditions are governed by the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts for the resolution of any dispute, difference, controversy or claim arising in connection with these Official Rules and/or these Qualifiers.

CRYSIS™ REGIONAL TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL RULES

Registration
The eight (8) selected Qualifiers held in each of Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, South Korea and Taiwan ("Finalists") will, on accepting the prize to compete in these 2008 Crysis Regional Tournament Championship Finals ("Finals"),
be automatically registered for the Regional Finals. This Tournament is a game of skill in which chance plays no part in determining the winners.

By accepting the prize to compete in the Finals, each Finalist agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and reaffirms and warrants to the Promoter:
(a) that he or she is an Eligible Participant under the rules which governed the Qualifiers in which he or she participated; and
(b) that he or she complied fully with the rules which governed the Qualifiers in which he or she participated.

Promoter
The Promoter is Electronic Arts Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore and having its registered office at 3 Temasek Avenue, #20-01 Centennial Tower Singapore 039190 ("Promoter").

Timing and Structure of Finals
These Regional Finals will commence at 14:00 (GMT) on 15th March 2008 and finish at 20:00 (GMT) on 15th March 2008.

Allocation of Groups and Sub-Groups
The Finalists will be divided into two Groups - 'Group A' and 'Group B' - with both Groups having an equal number of Finalists from the Qualifiers held in each of the participating countries. Group A and Group B will then each by subdivided into four Sub Groups - 'Sub-Groups A1, A2, A3 and A4' and 'Sub-Groups B1, B2, B3 and B4 - which again shall each have an equal number of Finalists from the Qualifiers held in each of the participating countries. The allocation of Finalists into Groups and Sub-Groups will be conducted randomly.

Round 1
The Finalists in each of Sub-Groups A1 to A4 will compete against each other individually in a sudden death play-off. The highest scoring player from each Sub-Group at the end of a 30 minute playing period ("Group A Grand Finalists") will progress to the Grand Final.

Round 2
The Finalists in each of Sub-Groups B1 to B4 will compete against each other individually in a sudden death play-off. The highest scoring player from each Sub-Group at the end of a 30 minute playing period ("Group B Grand Finalists") will progress to the Grand Final.

Grand Final
The Group A and Group B Grand Finalists will compete against each other individually in a sudden death play-off comprising of three 30 minute playing rounds. The three players having the highest cumulative score at the end of the three playing rounds will be the CRYSIS Champions.

Tied Scores
In the event of tied scores in any particular round of the Finals (including the Grand Final) the players who progress to the next round (or, in the case of the Grand Final, the CRYSIS Champions) will be determined based on which player or players have the lowest number of accumulated deaths. In the event of the same number of accumulated deaths, tied players will play a single match eliminator to determine who will proceed to the next round (or, in the case of the Grand Final, to determine who will be the CRYSIS Champions).

Prizes & Prize Conditions
The Prizes and the order in which they will be awarded to the CRYSIS Champions are as follows:

First Prize*	*To be determined in Promoter's sole and absolute discretion. Details of Prize to be published on Promoter's website by 1 March 2008.
Second Prize*	*To be determined in Promoter's sole and absolute discretion. Details of Prize to be published on Promoter's website by 1 March 2008.
Third Prize*	*To be determined in Promoter's sole and absolute discretion. Details of Prize to be published on Promoter's website by 1 March 2008.

Prize Conditions
The CRYSIS Champions must, as a condition to being awarded any Prize, sign and return to the Promoter, the Affirmation and Release.

The failure to return the signed Affirmation and Release by any CRYSIS Champion may, in the Promoter's sole discretion, result in the entitlement to the Prize being forfeited, in which case another Grand Finalist may be selected as the winner of that Prize.

Unless satisfactory proof of age is also received, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Finalist and select another Finalist to receive the Prize that the disqualified player would have been awarded were it not for his or her disqualification.

If the value of a Prize is specified in paragraph 6, to the fullest extent permitted by law the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in that value.

Except with the written consent of the Promoter, Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash Prizes cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter has absolute discretion as to whether to provide such consent and is under no obligation to provide any reasons to any person for providing, or withholding, consent.

If a Prize, or any part of a Prize, is “cash”, the “cash” will be paid by cheque drawn in favour of the relevant Prize winner.

the Finalist. The PI of CRYSIS Champions may be provided to others assisting, including prize suppliers and deliverers. Finalists may contact the Promoter at the address given below to request access to any of their collected PI that is still held.

COMMAND & CONQUER™ 3 TIBERIUM WARS LOCAL TOURNAMENT RULES

Registration
To register for these Qualifiers for the Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium War Singapore Tournament and have a chance to compete in the Regional Invitational Tournament, all you need to log onto www.ea.com.sg/eaplay08 and register online. Registration is open from 14:00 (GMT) on 15 February 2008 to 17:00 (GMT) on 9 March 2008 or as soon as one hundred and twenty eight (128) participants have successfully registered for these Qualifiers, whichever is earlier. No late registrations will be accepted. Registration Instructions form part of these Official Rules. The tournament is a game of skill in which chance plays no part in determining the winners.

The maximum number of participants in these Qualifiers is one hundred and twenty eight (128). Once one hundred and twenty eight (128) participants have successfully registered for these Qualifiers, no further registrations will be accepted.

By registering for these Qualifiers, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

Timing
These Qualifiers will be held at EA PLAY 08 at the Marina Square Central Atrium ("Venue") and will take place at 17:00 (GMT) on 15 March 2008 and finish by 20:30 (GMT) on the same day followed by 11:00 (GMT) on 16 March 2008 and finish by 14:00 on the same day.

Format and Structure

The tournament will be held in a 1v1, single-elimination format.
All participants will be randomly inserted into a single, large bracket. Contestants will then compete with one another in matches over the Local Area Network (“LAN”).
The participants who win in each round will advance to the next round, while the participants who lose will be eliminated from the tournament immediately.
The participant who manages to destroy all of the opponent’s structures will be declared the winner of that round. The winner will move on to the next round, while the loser will be eliminated from the tournament.
In the event that both players are unable to defeat each other after twenty-five (25) minutes have elapsed, the match will go into Sudden Death mode*. *There are a number of possible victory conditions for Sudden Death mode which will not be made known to participants beforehand. This is to prevent participants from intentionally dragging out the match and securing victory via Sudden Death mode conditions.
This cycle will continue until there are only final four (4) Finalists remaining where they will play Semi-Finals. The losers in the Semi-Finals will compete with each other for the 3rd and 4th place title, while the winners will proceed on to the Grand Finals to compete for the Championship. The winner of the Grand Finals will be awarded with the Champion title and the loser will be awarded with the 1st runner up title. The Winner of the Grand Finals will proceed to participate in the Regional Invitation Tournament
Outline of the structure of the qualifiers is as follows:
Round 1 – 128 players / 64 matches. Winners proceed to Round 2
Round 2 – 64 players / 32 matches. Winners proceed to Round 3
Round 3 – 32 players / 16 matches. Winners proceed to Round 4
Round 4 – 16 players / 8 matches. Winners proceed to Quarter Final
Quarter Final – 8 players / 4 matches. Winners proceed to Semi Final
Semi Final – 4 Players / 2 matches. Winners proceed to Final. Loser proceed to 3rd/4th Placing

Prizes & Prize Conditions
The Prizes and the order in which they will be awarded to the Winners of these Qualifiers are as follows:

First Prize	SGD$600 worth of products and a spot to compete in the Invitational Tournament Championship
Second Prize	$300 worth of products
Third Prize	$100 worth of products

Winners must, as conditions to participating in the Regional Championships:
(a) agree to be bound by the Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium War Invitational Tournament Championships Rules; and
(b) sign and return to the Promoter, on request, the Affirmation and Release.

The failure to return such signed documentation by the commencement of the Regional Championships may, in the Promoter's sole discretion, result in the participant's eligibility to compete in the Regional Championships being forfeited, in which case another participant may be selected to compete in the Regional Championships.

COMMAND & CONQUER™ 3 TIBERIUM WARS INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS TOURNAMENT RULES

Registration
The one (1) selected Qualifiers held in each of Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore ("Finalists") will, on accepting the prize to compete in these Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium War Invitational Tournament Championship Finals ("Finals"), be automatically registered for the Finals. This Tournament is a game of skill in which chance plays no part in determining the winners.

By accepting the prize to compete in the Finals, each Finalist agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and reaffirms and warrants to the Promoter:
(a) that he or she is an Eligible Participant under the rules which governed the Qualifiers in which he or she participated; and
(b) that he or she complied fully with the rules which governed the Qualifiers in which he or she participated.

Timing
These Invitational Tournament Champioinship Finals will commence at 14:30 (GMT) on 16th March 2008 and finish at 16:30 (GMT) on 16th March 2008.

Format and Structure

The tournament will be held in a 1v1, round-robin format. All contestants will be playing against every other contestant once.
All Finalists will be competing with one another in matches over the Local Area Network (LAN).
All Finalists will be awarded 2 points for winning the match within the 25-minute time limit. For matches won during Sudden Death, 1 point will be awarded. No points will be awarded for losses.
All points obtained will be totaled up at the conclusion of the round robin. The contestant with the highest number of total points will be declared the champion.

Participants will compete in groups of two (2) participants ("Playing Groups") playing in a single match eliminator using the "KICK OFF" game type ("Playing Rounds"). Playing Groups will be selected randomly by the Promoter.

The participant in each Playing Group who has eliminated their opponent will progress to the next Playing Round, where they will compete against another player using the same format. Losers will be eliminated from this Tournament immediately.
