1. Installing the game

a) Installing FIFA Manager 07 Demo
To install the FIFA Manager 07 Demo double-click the FIFAM07_Demo.exe and then click Unzip when prompted. When this process has finished select Install and FIFA Manager 07 Demo will install.

b) Minimum required hard disk space
You must have at least 450 MB free space on your hard disk when installing the game.



2. Minimum PC configuration

If any problems arise, please check first of all that your PC complies with the following minimum configuration:

Operating system Microsoft Windows 2000/XP (Microsoft Windows 95/98SE/ME and Microsoft Windows NT are not supported)
Processor 1.3 GHz Intel Pentium III processor (or equivalent)
Memory 512 MB RAM
Video card 32 MB (AGP/PCI-E) Video card (see section 10 for supported video cards), 64 MB are recommended
HDD space 450 MB free hard disk space before installation
Sound card Audio is not supported in the demo.
DirectX DirectX 9.0c or higher

NOTE: FIFA Manager 07 Demo requires a minimum of 280 MB free disk space after installation (plus additional space for save files) in order to run properly. If this space is filled before or during gameplay, the game may not function.



3. DirectX

The program will not run unless DirectX is installed. For FIFA Manager 07 Demo, the minimum supported version of DirectX is DirectX 9.0c.

DirectX and supported hardware
We recommend that FIFA Manager 07 Demo be run with DirectX compatible sound and video cards.

If your sound or video card does not support DirectX, please contact your vendor.



4. Uninstalling FIFA Manager 07 Demo

You can uninstall FIFA Manager 07 Demo using the "Uninstall FIFA Manager 07 Demo" from the Start Menu, which can be found at the same location as the shortcut used to launch the game ("Start/Programs/EA SPORTS/FIFA Manager 07 Demo").

Microsoft Windows also has an "Add/Remove Programs" icon in the Control Panel that can be used to uninstall the game.



5. Memory requirements

a) Memory requirements in Windows
FIFA Manager 07 Demo requires a minimum of 512 MB of RAM. If more memory is available, you will experience better game performance in all areas. Since FIFA Manager 07 Demo processes an enormous amount of data, a lot of memory can be more important than a fast processor.

Important: We recommend that you let your operating system automatically manage the amount of virtual memory.

b) Running the game in Windows
At Electronic Arts we strive to bring you the best in graphics, audio and gameplay; we are always seeking to maximise computer performance. Although we have made every effort to ensure that FIFA Manager 07 Demo multi-tasks with other applications, we recommend that you shut down all other applications (including virus scanners) and run FIFA Manager 07 Demo by itself whenever possible.



6. Improving game speed

There are several ways in which you can increase the speed of FIFA Manager 07 Demo:

a) Ensure that Hardware Acceleration is set to the maximum level. This setting is located under Control Panel\Display\Settings\Advanced\Troubleshooting in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP.
b) Even relatively slow computers allow the game to be played at a much-accelerated rate if a lot of memory is available.
c) If you experience problems with the frame rate of the game you should try to deactivate the player pictures on the line-up screen.
d) You can also improve the frame rate by turning off the 3D player faces on the options screen.



7. Configuration files

The configuration files (music settings, save games, custom training schedules, and other User-specific settings) are stored in a subdirectory of your My Documents folder.



8. MP3 player

This feature is not supported in the demo.



9. Notes on video cards / chipsets

If you are experiencing problems with your video card and FIFA Manager 07 Demo, we recommend updating your video card driver by downloading the latest driver available from the video card manufacturer. The video card chipset is the video processor located on the video card. If you cannot find any information in the video card manual or on the website, examine the video card for a chip inscribed with the manufacturer's name. Some popular chip manufacturers' websites are listed below:

If you experience problems, please contact your video card manufacturer or vendor for the latest drivers.



11. Notes on Microsoft Windows

FIFA Manager 07 Demo supports Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP.

*NOTE: To install and play the game properly on Microsoft Windows 2000/Microsoft Windows XP, you need administrator access to your computer. Consult your Microsoft Windows 2000/Microsoft Windows XP documentation for more information.

Microsoft Windows XP has a feature called Fast User Switching which allows multiple users sharing the same computer to have individual profiles and to swap their current work spaces without logging off. FIFA Manager 07 Demo does not support this feature.



12. Controller

If your controller needs manual calibration, please make sure that it is calibrated correctly. We would recommend that you calibrate your controller every time you start the game.

For full functionality a 360 degrees analog gamepad like the Logitech Dual Action Pad is recommended.



13. Task switching with ALT+TAB

Please note the game does not support ALT+TAB.



14. Data input closing date

The accuracy of the club and player data used in FIFA Manager 07 Demo was verified on September 1st 2006. The full game will include further improved data.
